Hi - hope everyone is having a good weekend. Has anyone ever used the DuPont BERG jacks on the NEC-8201? The manual describes them as 19,200 baud serial ports, basically. Wondering for what they might be useful.
Also, does anyone have experience refurbishing a rechargeable battery pack for the 8201 with modern rechargeable batteries? Does this work and does the battery pack still charge well from the original power supply, despite much higher modern capacities? Is one better off just using rechargeable batteries in a regular battery pack? Is there a way to adapt a regular pack to charge rechargeable batteries? Thanks - lots of questions... Best wishes, Anthony
