Thanks again all for your comments suggestions, etc. My M102 arrives on Monday. After all my excitement, reading, misc preparation, etc. I hope it works like the ad said. :)
I have: --Learned about, loaded and tested a termcap file on my linux box for the tandyM100. Well tested the best I could. I claimed to be a tandyM100 and most keys didn't work, a good sign. :) --I have read the user manual a few times and better understand the software that comes with the unit. I get a kick out of schedule and address which seem to just open a file with a particular name.DO. --I better understand how to use the built in TELCOM program and look forward to trying it out. --I have source, a compiled binary, and TASM.EXE, all the pieces I need to work with hterm. --I have a tback program downloaded which I understand will help me transfer programs such as hterm to my M102. --Am looking more into MComm as it sounds like another good option to move files to the M102. I have also set rows to 8 and columns to 40 on my linux box and played around. Its like looking at the world through the peep hole in the front door of my house. When reading messages from my TNC they would scroll right off the screen without me being able to read them. I seem to remember something in the M100 users guide about suspending reception and resuming. I'll have to figure that one out. I hope your all having a great weekend! Adam
