Me being set in my ways should in no way reflect on your toolchain choices. It's a great piece of software that has given me no trouble, even in my peculiar configuration. LaddieAlpha has enabled me to have a 32K computer with 40 terabytes of addressable directly attached storage, and it is a glorious thing for which I am grateful. I just happen to like to keep the environment on the host trimmed to the bone so it's easily replaceable, and to contain as much single purpose stuff as possible in tidy little packages like containers so they're easy to move around if I need to.
