Greg, I just finished some testing. I was using a v6 Android TV box, with an FTDI usb to serial adapter. On the other end was my NEC 8201. With mComm running, I pressed the Load Dos button and selected TS-DOS NEC. Then I went to Basic and put the command in that was on the TV screen and hit enter. Then I pressed OK on the TV screen (clicked with a mouse). mComm started sending and TS-DOS was loaded on my device.
I don't have a 100 or 102 here but I was able to use TELCOM and download the loader for TS-DOS by selecting a different version from mComm. At this point I'm not sure what is happening on your end. I'll see if there is any way to catch the error and display it. I'll keep you posted.
