Thank you Josh! Yes I'm testing them in-circuit, but that was the case in both the tests, and I get different readings, which makes me think they were faulty.
I did consider lifting one leg, but the reason I didn't is I'm not sure how to re-solder it after testing because it's cut really short. Is there a "trick" to do this kind of very short lead re-soldering (that's probably a skill I'll need if I want to keep my old computers in working order :o) ) I have a few C82 spares too so I guess I'll start swapping them and see how it goes. If it's not too much trouble to look into your last order, that would be nice to get a replacement reference for those diodes just in case (and also I have another M100 board where D15 is missing) Eric PS: In case it matters I also tested on two non-working M100 boards and I got the same readings than the "working contrast" M100 (except for the missing D15) Josh Malone wrote: > Are you testing the parts in-circuit?
