Well, it seems that changing C85 and C82 did the trick :o) I got a chance to unsolder one of D14 legs and it gave a more sensible reading (0.7V in one direction, open circuit in the other).
I tried testing C85 after removing it (with a cheap chinese components tester) and it registered as a diode so I think that was the failing part. I also replaced C82, and got -5.2V for Vee. The only trouble is I got a few contrast flickering in the first few minutes (normal, then very low again, normal again, etc...). It seems normal now but I'll keep an eye on it (it may not be related but testing D14 and D15 still gives a different result than on my other "working" M100). Also because I didn't used it for a while, I obliterated one of my REX banks trying to restore it (totally my fault, I should have read the message before pressing "Y", but if I may suggest a new feature to Rex Manager, perhaps displaying a warning when it's launched with caps-lock on could help). It's a good thing I had backups :o) Thanks again Josh for pushing me in the right direction! Your advice was very helpful :o) I'll probably post some questions about my second broken M100 in a couple of weeks, but for now it's time to have some M100 fun. Eric
