I wonder if this was the same user who commented on my 102 battery replacement video that he had an AZERTY kbd, but it was mapped QWERTY.
The video is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAIxY2GD3Rk But the comment was from "René Rens": "SepTandy brought me here! I have a Tandy 102 a model from Belgium with an AZERTY keyboard layout but it seems to be on QWERTY is there like a setting you need to do to change that?" In the end, we discovered there was an optrom labeled "AZERTY 102/BELGIUM" that, once started (CALL63012) remapped the keyboard to AZERTY. -Josh On Wed, Sep 23, 2020 at 6:56 PM Stephen Adolph <[email protected]> wrote: > Tandy 102, 26-3803 > > On Wed, Sep 23, 2020 at 6:52 PM Jeffrey Birt <[email protected]> > wrote: > >> Did the badging say Tandy or Kyocera? >> >> >> >> Jeff Birt >> >> >> >> *From:* M100 <[email protected]> *On Behalf Of *Stephen >> Adolph >> *Sent:* Wednesday, September 23, 2020 5:00 PM >> *To:* [email protected] >> *Subject:* [M100] European T102 - different! >> >> >> >> In a recent email exchange with a fellow user in Belgium, some photos of >> his T102 PCB were sent along. >> >> What jumped at me is that the board is very different from the NA version. >> >> I was quite surprised. >> >> Keyboard looked standard - QWERTY. >> >> >> >> This raises some questions: >> >> 1) what are the differences? >> >> 2) is the ROM any different? >> >> >> >> I'm working with this person to get the main rom extracted for a compare >> with nominal T102.
