I know that the Model 100 had its modem removed when it went on sale in Belgium.
I know MY Model 100 has the T102 character set, but I've been saying that for 
years in this group…

The T102 seems to have had a certificate for every communication authority of 
every country it was sold. So mine has one from the (Belgian) BITT.
I was not aware of hardware differences though…

forbidden to connect the built-in modem to the Australian telephone
network.  We had to use an external modem.  I do not know if that is the
same in the UK, but it's quite likely.
