I tried a while back and I had success with the DR-05 and Model 100, worked
very well. Also I had good results with Audacity and a PC laptop, including
being able to make MP3 that loaded back in well.

Yes, just dealing with audio files is fiddly in general. I mean if I did it
all the time, I'd remember all the steps, settings, audio level, etc. But I
do it once in a while, and every time I get the equipment back out it's a
journey of discovery.

I think it would be great if we were saving straight to decoded, named
files.

Blast the file to your device... the file shows up, or it doesn't.
