Hi Ken,

This brings back great memories for me as well.  I regularly went to a
Radio Shack in the next town to play with their display TRS-80 Model 1,
just as you did.

I guess this was a trait of Radio Shack managers, that they let folks do
that.  I suspect they knew that the folks who had a chance to play with
them like that would be most likely to buy.

In my case, I bought a Model 100 from them so the plan worked. :-)

It must be a global thing, since this worked in Australia as well as
here in the US. :-)
