I contacted Dreamhost and they did something to get the list archive search working again.
I checked it myself and it is working now. I did check my old support requests as it seemed familiar... this problem with a similar error cropped up 5 years ago and I had to contact support to resolve it then. So if you see this ht://dig error again when trying to search just let me know. -- John.
