Even if it's a LED strip attached to its own battery I'd go with it, but would such a thing work? I am not experienced with any modding unless you cound replacing capacitors.

I have a hard time reading the display when using it in places other than my house, outside. I use my 200 alot.

Sometimes I read on forums people saying have a stack of this and that ; these are the ones who should be starting such experiments if they have access to heaps of retro hardware.
