The .NET framework is open source and there is a Linux version of .NET called Mono. You might not have to change a thing...

Hey Steve, I'd love access to the source code to make an attempt at building a Linux version. I'm far from a .Net guy but I suspect the differences on the serial port side won't be all that large, and everything else should hopefully be "close enough."
