I had one recently that also had what appeared to be fabric under the keycaps,
but it was actually napkin or paper towel material as far as I could tell.That
is a user mod to make the keys quieter. They are not necessary and the new
method is to use orthodontic bands instead if you desire the quiet keys.Sent

in the interest of replacement, what exactly is this material? i have a feeling
it should be available at a fabric shop. seems to be some generic sort of
