Really!
I have one sitting in a heavy book under a pile of books to flatten
it so it can go back in neatly. Did not know it was a hack!
Well, raspberry pi sells silicon orings to accompany the new 500+. I may
just keep the thing off. It was so well cut into form that it seemed made
for the laptop. I don't mind a bit of key tapping in my den. If the cats can
wake me up at random times, I can do the same to them with my clacking.

That is a user mod to make the keys quieter. They are not necessary and the new
method is to use orthodontic bands instead if you desire
the quiet keys.

Subject: [M100] fabric under keycaps
I have a few fabric sheets that i removed while cleaning/refurbing my model
t's. in the interest of replacement, what exactly is this material? i have a
feeling it should be available at a fabric shop. seems to be some generic
sort of fiberglass.
