Hi Unfortunately PEEK(1) returns 167 on my Norwegian model as well. Which means that it's probably based on the American version and that is also indicated by the sticker on the back where it says "Custom mfd. in Japan for Tandy Corporation". But as stated before the date format is DD/MM/YY.
