The ov9650 is a 1.3 megapixel sensor, it make no sense to stick a more expense sensor in then capture at VGA and interpolate to achieve higher resolutions. Asus used two different sensors and versions of the m560x chip for their laptops. The ones which claimed 0.3M had the VGA res sensors and m5603C chips. The higher range laptops claiming 1.3M shipped with the M5602 and the ov9650 sensor. I can't see why they would bother with differing hardware if the differences were in software. -- Stuart Morgan ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
