I remember from the snooplogs that the m5602 is the real 1.3 M sensors, 
but just like the m5603c there is a setting in the bridge to scale down. 
Either you skip reading columns(every other one) in the sensor or do it 
in the bridge.

On the m5603c side most webcam are VGA sensors. The Creative Live Cam 
Voice is 1.3M and m56503c though (actually mt9v111 just as in some m5602 
camera's). To come to Frank's point the drivers for the VGA-cam do not 
use the hardware (JPEG capability). It looks like the Creative does, 
although I still have not been able to figure out the Huffman code table.

With the vga sensors and the m5603c you can get JPEG out (actually 
Quicktime format B meaning not using 0xff as a skip character), but I 
have never been able to get a picture out). I tried the standard jpeg 
tables, but no luck. Anybody have a good suggestion, because I am 
getting tired of trying the various options.
