To my knowledge, there are only two cases :
- sensor not rotated : hflip = vflip = 0
- sensor rotated by 180° : hflip = vflip = 1
The vflip quirk already handles that, it's actually a "hflip+vflip" quirk.
Perhaps the problem comes from the separate hflip and vflip controls ?

I think it's not necessary. I can't see how the sensor would be mounted to
require (vflip=1, hflip=0) or (vflip=0, hflip=1).

PS : I didn't test the gspca branch yet (because of kernel 2.6.27), so I can't
say if I have the same problem or not.
