Hi there..
I have been looking for a driver for some time now but
can't find anything usable..
My laptop is a ASUS A3500L (A3L) and
get the following with lsusb :
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001
Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux
Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux
Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0402:5603 ALi Corp.
USB 2.0 Q-tec Webcam 300
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux
Foundation 2.0 root hub
Somehow I managed to compile the "m5603c
sensor detection program" someone wrote, but I don't know who??
After
running the detection program I got the following result. :
Vendor:Product
0402:5603 potential webcam at bus: 1 dev: 2
m5603_bridge sensor :
OV7640 chipversion: 7648
The program tries to read from
/proc/bus/usb but there is no "usb" there, so I modified the path to
read from "/sys/kernel/debug/usb" and got the result.
My linux is Ubuntu 10.04:
cat
/proc/version
Linux version 2.6.32-22-generic (bui...@palmer) (gcc
version 4.4.3 (Ubuntu 4.4.3-4ubuntu5) ) #36-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 3
22:02:19 UTC 2010
I hope this is usable somehow to get a working
driver.
Cheers!
