This is what you might think but it it is not the reality. First: As you know membership requires approval from me to become member of this mailinglist. Therefore I ask every pending member to send a small text about his or her activities in art. I check this online and when I do not get this introductiontext from them they just do not come in. A simple introductiontext should be no problem at all, but spammers would not write one. And believe me this happens many times that spammers make themselves members, sometimes you can see it in the e-mails. How long is it ago that Spam has been posted at this mailing list. This mailing list is Spam free. With other words spammers do not come in and can not get your e-mail addresses also. Second: Non-members can read the messages, but they are not able to get your e-mail addresses. Your e-mails are hidden by Yahoo technology. You can try by going to this mailing list website and log out. And check then the messages, you will see that there are no complete e-mails. Spammers use special software to get e-mails from websites. This software gets hundreds of e-mails in one hour. And the e-mails in the public messages will not be saved by these harvesters.
