""where is everyone" seems to be the major question... I guess we are all too busy in our own hard intricate lives to care about weaving a really STRONG net, so this so called "Eternal Network" of mail art seems to me to be more and more a frail tissue with many holes, not a reliable net with which to go fishing... "
Mea Culpa I have noticed the past months that I do not participate anymore in Mail-Art projects but that I keep on looking for projects to do in the street art related scenes at the internet. Why? It is something that I have written so many times but some say that is sounds as "in the past all was better". But I keep on saying it, Mail-Art has changed and not in a good way. From a real avantgarde way of creativity it has turned out into a hobby club of bored housewives. Is there something realy interesting, something new that has happened the past year? When I take a look at Mail-Art blogs I notice that lots of the Mail-Art published there looks as it made with a manual. Is there maybe a book on the market "Mail-Art for dummies"? I only keep on mailing with old friends and interesting mail. And keep on searching my creative kicks in other scenes all over the world. But Mail-Art still stay my roots. greetings Sztuka Fabryka Member of IUON (International Union Of Nothing) NO LEADERS / NO MEMBERSHIP FOR NON-MEMBERS ONLY ------------------------ Yahoo!
