I have not heard of this, but would be glad to look into it. As I undersstand the rules, the mail must be delivered to the box number, no matter what name is on it. For instance, do you ever get mail addressed to "occupant" or "box holder".? Those certainly are NOT your name and they come through. I will ask at my local mail office and see what they have to say about this. Someone else had a similar problem last year, and it was a?case of the postmistress having a grudge against this artist for some reason. Odd.

She then explained to me that mail can only be sent to the registered legal name of the box holder and that I could not recieve mail addressed to a psuedonym. Psuedonyms being common in mail art, you know. I guess if you already have a PO Box you can do it, but since 9/11 any new PO box has to stick to the rules. Anyone have experience with this? - T ________________________________________________________________________ Email and AIM finally together.
