Hello,
once you are in the where am I, app, hit your menu key, and make sure that
you click on system location, make sure both, use wireless network, and use
GPS satellite, are checked.
this should work, to test it out, you can go back to the m.a. home screen,
and then click on where am I, if it tells you address unavailable, then move
your arrow key down once, and see if that will help you get the address
where you're located.
you can also download a good app, called blind locater, and hope that works
for you.

Hi all
I have had no success with GPS on my android. I have been to settings to
make sure it is on. The two likely settings were one about using
satelites and one that mentions assisted gps. The first says it uses
more battery life. I've tried checking these. Do I need to check
anything else? I have been outside in the freezing cold wind but still
when I try the MA where am I it simply says address not available. I
have not had any luck with look ahead either so am wondering if it is a
setting I still have not got right to start with.
