oh, I am taking it easy. I know how this works, and I know that some phones
won't see the upgrade for a while, if they indead do get it at all. I just
want to find a site wair I can keep track of what samsung says about the
update. maybe I could try calling boost mobile, thing is they may not know
anything either.

I'm annoyed at this to. If we were talking about Apple! Then an update
would have been made available across the board on all devices. Now I
have another 12 months left on this contract and I'm stuck with
Android 2.3 until then.

ok, now how did you find that one! I don't have an HTC phone, but I would
like to know if my phone will eventually get ICS. I am sure it should,
because it is a relitivly new phone, however, I would at least like to
keep
an eye on that kind of thing. mine is a samsung transform ultra. not just
the transform, the transform ultra.

Subject: [MA] HTC phones to receive the new Icecream Sandwich update
HTC released the lists of candidates for future Ice Cream Sandwich
software
update. Most of the listed phones are latest HTC products and flagships in
many areas like their HTC Sensation XE and XL.
So checkout below if your phone is listed on the ICS update support.
HTC Vivid
HTC Sensation
HTC Sensation XE
HTC Sensation XL
HTC Rezound
HTC EVO 3D
HTC EVO Design 4G
HTC Amaze 4G
Other included devices are carrier tied so it might be possible that roll
out of Ice Cream Sandwich will not be at the same time. But I'm sure HTC
had
already prepared the requirements and plans to give ICS upgrade as soon as
possible when it comes out.
Meanwhile, future HTC smartphones will surely run on Google's latest
Android
ICS like the leaked HTC Edge and HTC Ville.
