actually? from what I saw? nothing in the U.S. was released based on the second link you showed us, dated november 4th it would appear. only the U.K. released a couple. so nothing has been said at all about transform ultra yet. so we can't be assured, until samsung says we will see something.

HTC users, click on the second link to see if your phone is on the list. About prepaid companies to get the upgrade of android4.0. Any website you will view it would say that some of the Samsung, HTC, Motorola, etc… phones are still yet to get an update in when the android4.0 upgrade will be release. But all NEW android phones will get the upgrade some time with in the year of 2012. Samsung only released, a few phones that will get the upgrade in Europe, and in the USA, but they will start releasing more phones that will get the upgrade shortly. This would include the Samsung transform ultra, along with various others. Note: don’t be too concern on the companies that these websites point out for example: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint, because prepaid phone companies, will not be exempt from receiving the android4.0 upgrade. Note: If you don't see your device listed, don't fret... yet. If it hasn't been confirmed or denied, the OEM's likely still deciding which products will get the upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich. Keep checking back here from time to time, as we'll continue to update the list. http://www.engadget.com/updates/which-devices-will-get-ice-cream-sandwich/ -----Original Message----- From: Jarrod Jicha Sent: Monday, November 21, 2011 8:08 AM To: 'Mobile Accessibility Android Users List' Subject: RE: [MA] HTC phones to receive the new Icecream Sandwich update how did you find that out? every source I have checked samsung has said nothing about if there phones like the transform ultra will get it or not. I don't have an HTC phone, but I would like to know if my phone will eventually get ICS. I am sure it should, because it is a relitivly new phone, however, I would at least like to keep an eye on that kind of thing. mine is a samsung transform ultra. not just the transform, the transform ultra. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Saqib Hussain Sent: Sunday, November 20, 2011 6:47 AM To: Mobile Accessibility Android Users List Subject: [MA] HTC phones to receive the new Icecream Sandwich update HTC released the lists of candidates for future Ice Cream Sandwich software update. Most of the listed phones are latest HTC products and flagships in many areas like their HTC Sensation XE and XL. So checkout below if your phone is listed on the ICS update support. HTC Vivid HTC Sensation HTC Sensation XE HTC Sensation XL HTC Rezound HTC EVO 3D HTC EVO Design 4G HTC Amaze 4G Other included devices are carrier tied so it might be possible that roll out of Ice Cream Sandwich will not be at the same time. But I'm sure HTC had already prepared the requirements and plans to give ICS upgrade as soon as possible when it comes out. Meanwhile, future HTC smartphones will surely run on Google's latest Android ICS like the leaked HTC Edge and HTC Ville.
