Try a long press of the volume up key.

I am using the Soni Experia Pro. I can make it come up if I am lucky and close the pull out keyboard and happen to tap in the right spot on the screen, but it is very much hit and miss. I wish Icoudl do something like, oh I don't know, hold down menu and have it emulate the select key. Can anyone please help me with this? This is my only issue with this phone. If I can fix this then everything would be perfect.
