Hi Gary.
Yes they do discharge rapidly because of background processes running. I
installed advanced task manager on my phone, it kills unused tasks every
half an hour. google maps really annoys me as well because it keeps
running! even when the phone's on stand by, it doesn't last more than a
day and a half! If you need a hand installing advanced task manager let
me know. I also had to install an autorun manager to atempt to kill apps
on startup, you shouldn't need to do that but if you do let me know.
