Depending on the phone that you have, you may have a battery manager that
can help control data usage and things like that, when you don't need it. I
have one on my Motorola Milestone. If not, you may check the ap market for
one.
For example, I have my phone set to not allow any data access overnight
while I'm asleep. There's no reason for my phone to check email, and
facebook when I'm not awake.
A task manager could help like the other suggestion said, but generally,
Android kills tasks you're not using very well on its own.
With the battery manager, I turned my phone from one day of battery life, to
three or four, depending on how much I use it.
Also, if you are using your phone a lot, and downloading things or using the
internet, it will drain fairly fast. That's pretty normal.

Subject: [MA] battery life
Hi All,
I was wondering if android phones have a rapid battery discharge rate? It
seems like I have to charge mine everyday. Is this normal? Thanks,
