The function key would be the key to make those simbles. you should be able to press it twice to get it to work, if it doesn’t, then just hold it down and have the phone read out each simble when you press it.
Good luck. From: Danielle Sent: Friday, January 20, 2012 7:21 PM To: Mobile Accessibility Android Users List Subject: Re: [MA] Phone questions? I k now this has nothin to do with the subject line, but does anyone know how to do a less or greater then symbol? If you need to look into other phone models, checkout the: LG, Samsung, or Motorola, phones. They work well with accessibility, and the physical qwerty keyboard. About the HTC status, I would like to suggest, to read the phone manual, and find out how to use the numeric keys while on a call… then post the information on this user’s list for anyone who has this same type of phone, can learn from your experience. Sorry, I can’t be much help. Good luck. From: Courtney Hummel Sent: Friday, January 20, 2012 3:54 PM To: Mobile Accessibility Android Users List Subject: Re: [MA] Phone questions? The most popular ones are the ones that have a numeric roll the top of the keyboard and the second one is the one that doesn’t have a numeric roll, what it does have is a FN key, that would activate the numeric keys. so if the top roll has letters, QWE, etc… then you will find a FN key most likely at the bottom of the left hand side of your qwerty keyboard. Press that and it would give you’re the numbers 1,2,3, etc… this is what I meant while you’re on a call and you need to activate the numeric keys. If hitting your menu button doesn’t work then see if your phone has a FN key hit that and your numbers should work. I hope that helps. Good luck. I have the htp status and have some questions. When going to check your voice mail, it doesn't register when I put in my password? Was wondering if I have to hit something to make it work. When going to my phone history list it goes back to the previous minue I was in. I aways have to restart my phone to get to the call history. What phones work the best with this software?
