o.k. i just tried it with my phone but since my phone has a full
keyboard, i cannot be for sure if you could use the MA's numeric
keyboard mode to enter numbers during a call. i have to do a long
press of the menu icon at the bottom left of my screen so i can enter
numbers using my qwerty keyboard. i would suggest to research the
phone they are offering with the qwerty keyboard and see if it can be
updated to a new version of android from 2.1 to 2.3 at least. as i
mentioned before, my phone was supposed to receive a second update,
but the manufacturer and t-mobile decided not to so i have to wait
for funds before i can purchase a new phone with a newer os.

phone with just a touch screen that was a 2.3, but I heard some
rumor that you couldn't use phone menues while on a call without a
physical keyboard or track pad I think.
I need to know, causwe I'm not taking shipment of the one they sent
me because it's a 2.1 and it has a qwerty.
