Jenny, I recommend, if you haven't entered into a new contract with t-mobile yet, because though you can return your phone in thirty days, you only have fifteen days to cancel your contract and go back to the previous plan, you might want to wait until the mother's day sale where it is rumored that tmo will offer all phones for free.

Depending on htc's interface, the track pad should work in the phone dialer for making telephonic entries to automated systems, though you might need another dialer for dialing phone calls themselves.
