To add to that, you can hear that for yourself on the podcasts around the net that 4.0 really doesn't even have the accessibility refinement the very first speech enabled IPhone had back in 2009, the IPhone 3gs. I really wish google would actually take it seriously and create real and complete refined accessibility. I have serious doubts they are going to. I acknowledge it depends on what you want to do with the phone and yes you can accomplish tasks and use apps on it, but it just absolutely is not real thought out complete accessibility to use without vision from start to finish to have the proper navigation commands and screen access for us to use the interface to a full extent. Try finding a way to read something by character or by word unless you are in an actual edit field if you need to or because you didn't understand what the text to speech was trying to say. Sorry, you're on the latest and greatest version of Android. You will have to wait til some time in the future to maybe be able to do that. I also hear all kinds of, well if you get the right phone with the latest revision of ICS even available to it then the screen access doesn't crash as much. In my mind that is second rate low priority accessibility at best.
