You can't assign ringtones to individual contacts with the MA app. You need to get an app like "ringo". The lite version of this app allows you to assign ringtones, sms sounds, etc to individual contacts. The programs interface isn't particularly screenreader friendly, but you can figure it out with a little playing around.
