Assigning a ringtone to a person, regardless of how many numbers you have
with in that one particular contact, you should be able to assign a ringtone
to them.
I used the phone’s default contact list, and not the m.a. contact feature.
I don’t know what kind of phone you have but I have worked with various
phones, and had trained a few people on their phones, and it always worked.
I used ringgo before, and it works fine for those who like it, but it’s just
another app that would take up unnecessary room. Though, ringgo makes things
easier for those who are just looking to assign ringtones to people in their
contacts.

More precisely, it only works if there is one phone number for the person,
multiple phone numbers, the ring tone button doesn't show up.
That's why I keep Ringo Lite installed.

The way you would go about, setting individual ringtones is
by dong the
following.
Go to apps, click on contacts, make sure you're on the list of your
contacts, and not your favorites, and then once you're on
contacts, go down
the list of people and once you find the person you're
looking for, hit
enter on the name, and then hit your menu button, and it
would give you a
choice of thins to choose from, you would click on options,
and then you
would see set ringtones, right there. Hit enter on set
ringtones, and then
go down the list of the ringtones you would like to assign to
the person,
and then hit enter on the ringtone, and then move your down
arrow key to the
bottom of the list, and hit enter on ok. You just assigned a
ringtone to a
particular contact.

Thanks for your help so far. I will make a folder called Ringtones and
put them in there as there wasn't this folder anywhere on the phone. I
was able to assign one of the new ringtones as my incoming
ringtone, but
in the contact list was unable to find a way to assign ringtones to
individual people. I'm using the MA Contact list. Should I get a
different app that works better for this phone? Am I trying to do this
in the wrong place, but I couldn't imagine where else to do it from?
Please help as I'm really missing this from the days of my WM cell.
