Thank you, yes after I sent this message I read in the manual and now
can enter numbers while on a call. Will try 123 for voicemail. Also
I seem to have trouble ending the call - I have enabled use volume
keys to answer/reject calls but sometimes pressing volume down even
though it's not near my ear doesn't end the call.

Try pressing enter or select on the notification and see if that puts
you there. If you are using MA to dial and receive phone calls instead
of the stock dial answer screen that comes with your phone, tap/press
the menu button on your phone first and then try entering the number
that the voice mail asks you to enter to listen to your message. To
explain what I mean, also, try dialing 123 and see if that places a call
to your voice mail. So let's say you get a notification that you have a
voice mail. If you are using ma and not system call screens, you select
the notification, and if you have a track pad, pressing the center of
the track pad, if not, enter on your phone's keyboard, or from the
dialer, 123 to place the call. Once there, tap the menu button on the
front of your phone, then try to enter the information asked for. note)
to access voice mail by pressing and holding the #1 key on your phone,
only works from the stock dialer. You also probably, in your contacts,
have something labeled 123. This is the saved contact for your voice
mail. I hope I explained this properly. give it a try. Tapping the
menu key in a call switches you to system call screens and lets your
keyboard work in a call. Good luck.

Hi,

Thanks for the responses to my question about transferring contacts -
haven't done it yet but need to wait for help...

Now I have another question. I have a voicemail but am not sure how
to listen to it. I called the number to get to my voicemail box but
then I need to press number 1 and am not sure whether/how this is
possible. I pressed 1 on the physical keyboard of my Xperia Mini Pro
and nothing happened. I tried by pressing just the top left (letter
q) button and also pressing the bottom left button to change to
numbers and then q. Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to
press numbers like this?

Also I dialled the number for the voicemail by putting the numbers in
the accessible dialer. I could save that number to my contacts but is
there another way to call the mailbox? I found I had a voicemail by
going to show system notifications and it told me there was a
voicemail and what number to dial; but is there a shortcut/icon
somewhere to call the mailbox?

Thanks, got a feeling I'm going to be asking a lot of questions for a
while...
