Hi, I have some answers to your alarm problems. When I set an alarm I don't
press enter on the hour. I just type the number there without pressing any
other buttons and that works fine. Secondly, I found out that pressing the
down arrow while the alarm is ringing will always stop the alarm. I'm not
sure if your phone is different. Finally, alarms will stay in the list after
they've been deactivated, in case you want to activate them again later.
That's kind of nice because it saves you the step of creating your alarm
over again. I have an alarm that wakes me up in the morning. Sometimes I get
up at different hours of the morning, so I just find my alarm in the list,
activate it and change the hour or minute, and then it's all set.
Your phone is probably different than mine, but I hope that helps. And in

Subject: [MA] Problems with MA alarm app
Hi,
I'm having a couple of problems with MA's alarms app and wondering if
anyone can comment/help.
Firstly when I go to create a new alarm, when I want to select the
hour and minutes, though it says press enter to edit nothing happens
when I press Enter - I'm not able to type numbers and cursoring
anywhere takes me to another field rather than altering the numbers.
It works if I double tap though. Does anyone else find this?
The other problems are when the alarm rings. I find sometimes MA says
swipe down to stop or up to snooze but sometimes it doesn't say that -
it doesn't matter as I remember what to do, but just wondering if
there's a reason for that. Also, sometimes though I swipe down to
stop the alarm it still remains in the list of alarms when I look,
even though it wasn't an alarm set to recur. Shouldn't it disappear
after it's sounded and hasn't been set to snooze? A couple of times
also I haven't been able to stop the alarm ringing though I swiped
down several times.
