If connecting your USB to your pc, doesn’t work, then see if you are able to remove the sd-card, and use the adapter that came with it, and place that on your pc, that way you are able to move any folder on to your pc, without any problems. If you are working with windows7, on a 64bit system, I was having the same problems at first, but I place a check on USB debugging, and once the phone was plugged on to my system, I clicked on to shut off the USB debugging, and it worked ever since. I know it might seem a bit much to do, but hey it just might work. Though, windows usually will install the software for the phone on its own.
Hope that helps.
Good luck.

Subject: [MA] Trouble with Android Phone and USb

Greetings,
After doing a factory reset of my Samsung Stratosphere, I plugged my
phone into the USB port on my Windows PC and selected mass storage mode
as my connection option. Now I can see the device in Windows Explorer,
but when I click on removable disk I'm told to insert a disk which of
course won't work I then right click on it and select open as portable
device. When I do that though there's nothing there. I really need to
move my work folder from my PC to my phone for use at work. Any help you
can offer would be great.
Thanks,
Nick
