What I had to do was to factory reset the phone. Once that was done, I still had trouble on my desktop PC but it works very nicely on my laptop. I can plug it in and move files back and forth from the phone to the computer without a problem. On 10/8/2012 9:34 AM, Alphonso McFadden wrote:

Subject: [MA] Trouble with Android Phone and USb

Greetings,
After doing a factory reset of my Samsung Stratosphere, I plugged my phone into the USB port on my Windows PC and selected mass storage mode as my connection option. Now I can see the device in Windows Explorer, but when I click on removable disk I'm told to insert a disk which of course won't work I then right click on it and select open as portable device. When I do that though there's nothing there. I really need to move my work folder from my PC to my phone for use at work. Any help you can offer would be great.
Thanks,
Nick
