Hello. I have the samsung relay as well. If you hold your per
button down for about 2 seconds, the menu will appear. The
second opment is power off. If you donT hear the menu, have
someone go into accessibility and check the accessibility
shortcut key and power key is chaeked. This does work. I hope
this helps you out.

first, the home button isn't a physical button, but rather a
capacitive
button or widget. Try tapping on the bottom of the screen
center/left
of center and see what happens. Pulling the battery doesn't hurt
you at
all. one thing, pressing and holding the power button brings up
a list
of options and one of them is to turn your phone off. If you
have
physical directional controls, maybe arrows on your keyboard, you
can
scroll down to the bottom of the list that will be there after
pressing
the power button, that is the off choice. When you get your
phone
working again, download an app called keyboard tutor, it will
help you
learn your phone better. It is free and I think essential for
most new
Android users.

No, I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that just yet. I've only
had
this phone a few hours and really don't know where most of the
controls are yet.
