In order to interact with the voice menu or in simple words to be able to
dial number during a call, once the call is connected, press the menu key.
This launch the stock phone application with on - screen keyboard, you can
then use the joystick or arrow keys to navigate the keypad or if you are
using Android 4.0 can use touch and explore or can even use the phone
physical keypad to dial numbers.
Once you complete dialing the number when the call is connected, to return
to MA Call screen, press the home key and Select MA. Note, if MA is set as
default, it would automatically land on the call screen.
Tip: to be able to best manage dialing numbers during a call, it is advised
to first activate the loudspeakers by double tap on the screen and then
press the menu key to go to Stock phone application.

I'm wondering how you choose from a menu when you're on a call? For
example, several department stores have an automated menu telling you
to press 1 for women, 2 for kids, 3 for housewares, and so on. My
question, is how do you do that when you're on a call with a touch
screen phone that also has a qwerty keyboard with a number row on it
if you press the alt key to make the top row numbers.
