Hello Leslie,

Allow me answer all your question in the same sequence as in your message.

Before I start to take you questions, I would like to inform you that the commands for U2 and U1 are same, you can find the MA commands in the MA user manual at http://www.codefactory.es/MA/en/MA_manual_en.html#_Toc341383411. Secondly, there have been some change in the commands (still in Beta) so if you would like to test let me know off list.

My answer are marked as MS:.

1. When I use Braille, I turn the speech off. However, whenever I press my
arrow keys, the phone keeps making a clacking sound. Is there a setting to
turn this off? I am using the Samsung Galaxy S Relay with T-Mobile.
MS: Is this happening in side MA or outside? Is the sound different than the navigation sound? you may want to modify the option "Sound Feedback for navigation" under MA > Settings > Audio and Vibration.

2. Mobile Accessibility doesn't seem to have word wrap. Words are often
not on the same display line, which is annoying. Both Jaws and
Window-Eyes have this feature. Is there a setting in Mobile Accessibility
that I need to enable? I sure haven't noticed it so far.
MS: As mentioned above the commands are tabled there in the user manual. Please note, to let these commands work to best possible extent specifically outside MA suit, you should have MA Virtual Keyboard set as default input method. Check the steps to do that in user manual at http://www.codefactory.es/MA/en/MA_manual_en.html#_Toc341383285

3. Mobile Accessibility doesn't have a list of commands that you can use
to navigate your phone. I understand that the IPhone is way beyond Android
with this feature. It has a whole list of keyboard commands that you can
use on your display. If you use Mobile Accessibility and Braille, you
constantly have to go back and forth from the phone to the display.
Braille sure has a long Way to go.

MS: once you have the virtual keyboard set as default input method, you should not be facing this issue. Let me know your observations.

4. Is Brailleback working yet? I know it works with Talkback running. Do
you have to have speech running for it to work.

MS: as far as I know, Braille Back is a separate service and can run independent of Talkback, am afraid I can not be of more help in this.

Thanks
Mukesh

Subject: [MA] Braille on Mobile Phones

I'm cross posting to both lists there are Android users on the paperless
Braille display list who can share their experiences.

I am using Mobile Accessibility with my Braille Sense U2. I have
encountered a few issues and am hoping that some one would have an answer.

1. When I use Braille, I turn the speech off. However, whenever I press my
arrow keys, the phone keeps making a clacking sound. Is there a setting to

2. Mobile Accessibility doesn't seem to have word wrap. Words are often

that I need to enable? I sure haven't noticed it so far.

I would love to hear people's thoughts on these issues, whether you are an
Android user or not. Thanks.
