Hello Leslie,
You are right, as of now Word Wrap is not in the MA features and we are
taking both as feature request.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Mukesh

Hi Mukesh:
Thanks for responding to my questions and the manual reference. For your
information, there is is no such thing is the U1. The predecessor to the
Braille Sense U2 is the Braille Sense Plus.
1. The clacking sounds happens inside and outside of Mobile Accessibility
when my arrow keys change an option. I will try the setting you suggested
to see if it works.
2. Although I appreciate the reference to the manual, there is no direct
answer to my question. Word wrap is a setting that is checked within your
screen reader itself. It allows words to be displayed on one line, instead
of having to hit your panning button to read the rest of the word.
Obviously, Mobile Accessibility doesn't have this feature right now, or
you would have told me where the setting was. Please make word wrap a
priority in your next release of the program.
3. Your reference to the manual containing commands is appreciated.
However, why will they only work in virtual keyboard mode? Some people
(including myself) have purchased Android phones because we still want a
physical keyboard interface. If I disable my keyboard, I'm defeating the
purpose of why I purchased my phone in the first place. Again, I am using
the Samsung Galaxy Relay, which can be used with T-Mobile and Verizon in
America.
Thank you.

Hello Leslie,
Allow me answer all your question in the same sequence as in your message.
Before I start to take you questions, I would like to inform you that the
commands for U2 and U1 are same, you can find the MA commands in the MA
user manual at
http://www.codefactory.es/MA/en/MA_manual_en.html#_Toc341383411. Secondly,
there have been some change in the commands (still in Beta) so if you
would like to test let me know off list.
My answer are marked as MS:.
1. When I use Braille, I turn the speech off. However, whenever I press my
arrow keys, the phone keeps making a clacking sound. Is there a setting to
turn this off? I am using the Samsung Galaxy S Relay with T-Mobile.
MS: Is this happening in side MA or outside? Is the sound different than
the navigation sound? you may want to modify the option "Sound Feedback
for navigation" under MA > Settings > Audio and Vibration.
2. Mobile Accessibility doesn't seem to have word wrap. Words are often
not on the same display line, which is annoying. Both Jaws and
Window-Eyes have this feature. Is there a setting in Mobile Accessibility
that I need to enable? I sure haven't noticed it so far.
MS: As mentioned above the commands are tabled there in the user manual.
Please note, to let these commands work to best possible extent
specifically outside MA suit, you should have MA Virtual Keyboard set as
default input method. Check the steps to do that in user manual at
http://www.codefactory.es/MA/en/MA_manual_en.html#_Toc341383285
3. Mobile Accessibility doesn't have a list of commands that you can use
to navigate your phone. I understand that the IPhone is way beyond Android
with this feature. It has a whole list of keyboard commands that you can
use on your display. If you use Mobile Accessibility and Braille, you
constantly have to go back and forth from the phone to the display.
Braille sure has a long Way to go.
MS: once you have the virtual keyboard set as default input method, you
should not be facing this issue. Let me know your observations.
4. Is Brailleback working yet? I know it works with Talkback running. Do
you have to have speech running for it to work.
MS: as far as I know, Braille Back is a separate service and can run
independent of Talkback, am afraid I can not be of more help in this.
Thanks
Mukesh

I'm cross posting to both lists there are Android users on the paperless
Braille display list who can share their experiences.
I am using Mobile Accessibility with my Braille Sense U2. I have
encountered a few issues and am hoping that some one would have an answer.

I would love to hear people's thoughts on these issues, whether you are an
Android user or not. Thanks.
