You can find information on the http://www.screenreader.net website. It hasn't
started selling real big in the US yet, why I put all the instructions in about
contacting one of the developers, who can convert the pounds to US dollars.
One thing appealing to me about Georgie is that when you tap on an item,
Georgie speaks and beeps. She can let you know when you are at a bu stop and
such as well.

I had heard that about TalkBack. Georgie takes Androids to new heights.
Here are some instructions if you want to try Georgie... I got these from one
of the developers over in England. You can read about Georgie by going to
http://www.screenreader.net. Here's the instructions...
Here are some instructions I got from the developers. They are over in England
now. So you would want to call maybe about 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. your time.
The instructions for self-install are as follows:

1. Launch the Google Play store on the Android phone
2. In the search box at the top of the page that is displayed type
'GeorgiePhone Screenreader'
3. Pick GeorgiePhone from the resulting list
4. Press the Install button
5. Make sure the Auto-Update check box is checked
6. Wait for the download to complete
7. Press the Home button at the bottom of the screen
8. Select the Georgie Phone button as the default app
9. Select Always as the default app
10. Call us on 1 610-440-3171 and supply a) the phone number of the
phone and b) the IMEI (equipment identifier) of the phone so we can provision
it for full use."

Hello Chris,

I use a Galaxy Nexus running Jellybean. I will tell you what I do to answer a
call while running Talkback. Hopefully it works the same on your phone.

When the phone rings, put your finger on the middle of the screen, but a little
bit more near the bottom than near the top. Keep your finger there for a second
or so. Now a button will appear and Talkback will say something like "swipe to
the right to answer, swipe to the left to refuse", and some more options I
don't remember at this moment. So now if you swipe your finger to the right,
that will answer the call. I really hope it works for you.

As for the web browser, I've been told that Firefox is very well accessible
with Talkback, but I haven't tried that out yet. I don't use MA at all amymore,
because Talkback simply is much better on Jellybean.

Hth,
Miranda

Subject: [MA] please help with Jelly bean on photon

Hello,
I am running Jelly bean on a Motorola photon. Wireless Accessibility seems
useless. The web browser doesn't work. When I try to arrow down, it just opens
the menu. When I turn off wireless accessibility and turn talkback on, I can't
answer calls anymore. I can't use explore by touch when MA is set as my default
under accessibility. Is there any help? Especially with answering calls. It is
so frustrating to be unable to answer the phone. I've tried uninstalling and
reinstalling wireless accessibility. I'm so lost.
Best,
Chris
