Miranda, what do you use for speech?  I use Georgie and love it.

I'm not entirely sure because my phone doesn't run MA anymore, but I think I
remember you have to set the MA keyboard as your default input method, and
you need to do that both in the MA settings and in your phone's native
settings. If you do that, the speech recognition should work when the MA
virtual keyboard is open, both inside and outside the MA suite of apps.

If you don't know how to do this, perhaps it is best to ask a fully sighted
person for assistance.

I'm sorry, but I have tried long-pressing the volume Up key over and over
again,and nothing happens. I do not hear the two vibrations.
