I've used voice recognition in the email program and to send text messages.
Haven't tried it in the dialer.

Subject: Re: [MA] voice recognition in MA 2
Dusty: Following your great directions, I was able to make a call using
one of my contacts. Is there a way to make a call using voice recognition
when you want to input numbers? Also, will voice recognition work when
sending a text? Thanks a million, clare

using MA's built in phone dialer, just hold down the volume down
button,
you don't need to long press the volume up key in ma, only outside
of
it, then while pressing the down volume, when you feel the
vibrations,
speak the number and then release the volume key. I hope that
helps.
