Membaca secuil berita tentang Trie Utami di Jawa Pos hari ini, 1 Mar 06, saya jadi agak curiga kalau Trie Utami lagi terkesan dengan ajaran Buddha. Dia membuat puisi-puisi dalam dua buku berjudul Cinta Setahun Penuh dan Karmapala The Silent Love - Nyanyian Hati Trie Utami.
Yang lebih aneh dia sempat memberi komentar,"Saya malah ingin mempertahankan beberapa penderitaan agar tetap mendapat pencerahan."
