Lynne,

Thanks for the respond. I need to learn how to purchase / download the
program from my Mac. Can this be done from my Windows machine?

Hello Dan

You can purchase Lion but if you're running Leopard I\m not sure how you'll
ge to the App store.

ion is a full installer, so no worries once you have it.

Hi all,

I am very new in Mac. I hope you don't mind for me to ask the following
basic questions. I need guidance in upgrading to Lion.

I have an Imac which is running Leopard (10.5.6). Do I need to first upgrade
to Snow Leopard (v. 10.6) in order to upgrade to Lion? If I can skip v.
10.6, can I just purchase Lion from App store and download it and install
over the current OS? Are there anything that I should be aware or know?

I would appreciate it if you can give me detail answers, if possible. Please
feel free to email me privately. Many thanks in advance for your help.
