Thanks for the clarifications Bryan and Gordon. I was wondering whether the bus speed was independent of the memory -- ie upon installing the 1333 GHZ memory I would notice a new bus speed of 1.33 GHZ. From Gordon's comments it sounds as though that would not be the case, hence the faster functionality would never be exploited. My inclination is to leave things as they are for now until/unless I upgrade my HD.
