Geoff The problem seems to be Outlook Expres. It can't handle the mime type which is used for digital signatures so it simply splits the messages into attachments. I gather that other versions of Outlook and even the new Windows Mail don't suffer from this problem. Outlook was released before these were in use and hasn't been updated in a while. I don't want to get into a discussion on Outlook since it's off topic, but I wanted to try and explain the reasons to you.
